Cindy she/her
Hi I’m Cindy! I’ve been behind the chair for almost 18 years! I am a generalist. Meaning, I do it all, and I do it all well. I like keeping my clients and services as diverse as I am! It makes my day fun and interesting. I love razor cutting, barbering, balayages, creative colors, designer perms, updos, silk presses, eye brow waxing… just to give you some ideas.I love creating a spectrum of looks. Anywhere from a classic bob to a very edgy alt look.
I have done some fun free lance work in Chicago and Milwaukee. Fashion shows, film sets, and photo shoots. I also taught my first barbering class this year and am excited to do more stuff like that in the future!
Outside of the salon world, I am a passionate skater! On the wood rhythm skating, evading blockers on the roller derby track, rolling around doing tricks at a skate park, or just cruising outside! I also love spending time with my family and friends.

Kole he/him
Hi! I’m Kole! I’ve just started my journey with hair and I’ve never been happier! I graduated from VICI Capilli in September of 2024 and joined the Freya team to further my education with their assistant program. With the help of Freya’s talented stylists (and Sam) I am ready, and SO excited, to have you in my chair!
I enjoy classic natural colors, highlights, and basic haircutting. I will gladly assist you in any of these services! But, if we are being honest- my truest love is for fun vivid colors, shags/mullets, and atypical haircuts that help you live out your myspace dreams. Basically any layered cut I can use a razor for!
I have always loved experimenting with my hair. I spent my childhood watching the cool older emo kids cut and color their own hair on YouTube, forever wishing I could do that. I remember the magical feeling of coloring my own hair, and getting the first haircut that finally felt like me. Since then I’ve always wanted to help other people feel that joy and excitement about their own hair. Hair is a huge factor in feeling like your best YOU and it’s my number one priority to help you achieve that feeling.
My chair is a safe space- I will be there to geek out about the things you are passionate about, support you in making that jump to do something you love, or to listen when you just need space to exist. Our time together is your time to be unapologetically you.
When I’m not behind the chair you will find me at concerts, local basement shows supporting Milwaukee’s alternative music scene, hanging out with my friends and family, and gushing about early 2000’s emo bands!

Katie she/her
Hi, I’m Katie! I work with my client’s natural hair colors and textures in order to create long-lasting results that are beautiful yet low maintenance.
I specialize in dimensional highlighting, soft gray blending, and wash and wear haircuts of any length that work for your lifestyle. No matter what texture your hair is, I love to use my 23 years of experience behind the chair to create natural lived in looks that are realistic to your needs and just get better with time!
Looking for bright vivids every color of the rainbow? I suggest taking a look at Carson or Adriana! Interested in a stylist with a passion for barbering? Then I suggest checking out Josh or Izzie!
I am a Deva Curl certified stylist and have spent my whole career continuing my education with brands such as Goldwell, Kevin Murphy, and Oligo. Just to name a few!
In my free time, I can be found playing music in a classic country cover band or spending time with friends. And there is nothing I love more than a night at home!

Lauren she/her
Hi! I'm Lauren :) Freya has been my hair home since graduating from Madison Area Technical College in 2022. Hair has always been my favorite way to express my own personal style, and I've loved helping my clients do the same.
I enjoy cutting all types of hair, especially tight coils and curls. While clipper cuts are fun once in a while, it's not my specialty. For precise short cuts, try Josh or Izzie!
As for color, I love lived in blonding, traditional highlighting, rainbow hues, fiery reds and rich brunettes (honestly I just love it all).
In my free time, you can count on me being cuddled up with my 2 cats, watching reality tv, playing cozy games and cooking up something yummy. I'm excited to meet you and help you achieve your hair goals, whatever they may be!

My goal is to help people feel like the most authentic version of themselves. With 9 years of experience behind the chair and a background in sculpture, I bring a unique eye for shape, balance, and dimension to every service.
I especially enjoy doing color corrections, alternative textured haircuts, blonding, and vivid colors—creating bold, personalized looks that are impactful yet low-maintenance. As an inclusive stylist, I strive to make every client feel seen, heard, and comfortable—cultivating a space where self-expression and connection come naturally.
Outside the salon, you can find me gaming, watching horror movies with friends, exploring the outdoors, or hanging out with my dog, Wilfred. I’m looking forward to meeting you and creating something that makes you feel inspired, and completely yourself.

Hi I’m Izzie, and I’ve been a stylist since 2017. I’d love to see you in my chair! I want to be able to help you feel like your absolute best self!
Some things that I specialize in are curly cuts, fades, along with long and short hair. Color is also something I love whether it’s dimensional, creative, or lived in! I’ve also taken outside education for blonding, curly cuts (devacut certified!) and dimensional color (highlights, balayage, ect).
Outside of work you can catch me enjoying the outdoors and live music. I can’t wait to meet you and help you with your hair dreams!

I love to create custom looks that showcase who you are as an individual, while maintaining longevity and creating a look that flows with your lifestyle.
I gravitate towards lived-in blonding, dimensional color, and vivid moments. I like to push the boundaries around haircutting and I’m here for any type of shags, pixies and mullets.
One of my biggest passions is giving my clients a safe space to come as you are and making sure you feel seen and heard in my chair.
I began my journey studying at the Aveda Institute of Beauty & Wellness, and I’ve been licensed since 2018 behind the chair.
In my free time you can catch me out in nature, listening to music, being active, reading, camping, learning something new or hanging out with my kitty Scout and those closest to me

Abigail she/her
Howdy everyone! I am Abigail Whitney and I joined the Freya team in 2021, after honing my craft for several years at other Milwaukee salons.
As a colorist, I enjoy creating low maintenance, natural + lived in blondes, brunettes, reds + copper hair colors.
When it comes to cutting, I love keeping up with the latest hair trends, including: razored cuts, shags for all types of textures, curly cuts, and mullets! Although I may dabble in barbering, I highly recommend Josh, Izzie or Sarah for all your barbering hairstyle needs.
My specialties don’t quite end at just color and cuts! I adore styling hair for any special occasion, especially for weddings!
As your stylist, I bring a whole lot of personality and care to each and every clients experience at Freya. Building a deep and meaningful connection with my clients is incredibly important. That way, we can openly communicate and build a trusting relationship between us. I want everyone who sits in my chair to feel they are seen and heard for who they truly are.
When I’m not behind the chair, you can find me working on and riding my motorcycle, tending to my ever expanding plant family, listening to yacht rock, or at home cozied up to my puppy Penny Lou and three cats: George Bailey, Alvin and Grandma.

I love doing barbering and all sorts of trending or unusual cuts, like mullets and wolf cuts. I like working with all lengths and textures to help you achieve your hair goals. If you're looking for something non-binary, I can help.
I'm not one for your platinum, bright vivid colors, or color corrections so I would talk to my fellow stylists Adriana or Lauren for those types of services.
I've been with Freya since I was in beauty school in 2019.
In my off time, I love going to concerts and making music; I also really love trying new food and traveling!

O hey, I’m Adriana, and I wanna be your go to hairstylist for alternative lived in haircuts, any and all vivids, color corrections, and big transformations.
Barbering may not be my passion, but you would love Josh and Izzie for those services!
My number 1 priority will always be making you feel comfortable and confident.
Whether you wanna chat, vent, work, or have a quiet appointment, I got you.
Vivid colors and rainbows are my passion. Some of my favorite projects have been based on unconventional inspo pics, like lava, a flower garden, and an aurora!! In November 23’ I was lucky enough to fly to London to learn from the vivid master themselves Norman Boulton.
I love to travel and learn about different cultures, histories and traditions.
In my free time I love snuggling up with my cat Meeko and reading (mostly sci fi and fantasy). I’m a big hobby jumper so you can expect me to know a little bit about A LOT of things! I’m an open book, so feel free to ask me anything you want to know!

I aim to help my clients embrace their hair, whether it be long, short, straight or textured, and anything in between. I believe we need to prioritize a healthy scalp as a foundation for healthy hair.
I began my career in the hair industry in 2005. Over the years, I have completed education with Goldwell, Kevin Murphy, Devacurl, Arrojo, and the Holistic Scalp Alchemy Academy to name a few.
Beyond crafting that perfect haircut tailored to your unique needs, I offer customized luxurious and healing scalp spa services that melt away tension and promote healthy hair growth and vitality.
Looking for hair color? I am currently not taking any new color clients, but Freya is filled with talented colorists. For lived-in soft hues and blonding, try Sarah or Abigail. Seeking bold vivids or creative color? Carson, Adriana or Lauren will make your hair dreams come to life!
I love to spend my free time creating and crafting or being outside. I enjoy gardening and hiking our beautiful parks and I also create art with flowers and plants (check out Freya's waiting room wall for the latest!)

Emily she/her
I’m the salon owner!
I’m only behind the chair a few hours a week these days, and not taking on any new clients. (That’s why you won’t see me on our online booking!) Most of my time is spent behind the scenes, though I still love to throw down with a vivid red or a razor cut from time to time!
I originally started Freya with 6 other friends, co-op style, just trying to make a nicer place for us all to go to work every day. Being the sole owner of a salon wasn’t on my radar at all in those days - I wanted to do big, exciting things, like work fashion week, or become an industry educator!
After years of chasing and checking the boxes on those dreams and more, plus spending hundreds of late-night hours perfecting all kinds of crazy techniques for rainbow colored hair, I realized that making Freya into a space to nurture other up and coming stylists is really where my heart is at now.
When I’m not in the salon, you will find me traveling somewhere new and exciting, or at home obsessively snuggling my two cats.
